Team news
Inter: Inzaghi is expected to deploy his best lineup against the Bianconeri despite some key injuries as both Hakan Calhanoglu and Francesco Acerbi are not expected to make it into the squad on Sunday. Both Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram should also be back into the starting lineup to face their historical rival.
Potential Inter XI: Sommer; Pavard, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Frattesi, Barella, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Lautaro, Thuram.
Juventus: Motta will have to deal with some injuries, as Nico Gonzalez, Teun Koopmeiners and Douglas Luiz are all injured and won’t be part of the squad. Goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is back after the suspension, while USMNT star Weston McKennie should also make his comeback after a small injury.
Potential Juventus XI: Di Gregorio; Savona, Kalulu, Gatti, Cambiaso; McKennie, Fagioli; Conceicao, Yildiz, Mbangula; Vlahovic.
Prediction
Both teams are in a good condition, and it won’t be an easy game for both Inzaghi and Motta’s side. Pick: Inter 1, Juventus 1.
