Trump, Vance portraits released ahead of Inauguration Day 2025: See the photos

Days before the official presidential transition, representatives for Donald Trump and JD Vance released official portraits of the president-elect and vice-president-elect.

Trump is set to be sworn in as the 47th president and Vance will be sworn in as 50th vice president of the Unites States on Monday, which happens to fall on Martin Luther King Jr. Day this year, a federal holiday.

Trump has spent the last months preparing his administration for his second term in office. Cabinet nominees appeared before the Senate this week for their confirmation hearings, fulfilling the mandatory approval process before they take their posts, and several other White House positions have been filled.

Trump has pledged several first-day plans, including hitting Mexico, Canada and China with import tariffs and pardoning Jan. 6 rioters. But none of this can officially happen until pomp and circumstance of Inauguration Day ceremonies are complete.

Here’s a look at portraits for Trump and Vance, plus key information about Inauguration Day.
